The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) provides Victorian undergraduate students with an opportunity to explore the world of biomedical research. A wide variety of projects are available to UROP students including those in basic biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, physiology, bioengineering and bioinformatics to name a few. UROP projects differ each round and generally offers biomedical research positions in wet and dry labs (such as in the fields of computational science, engineering and mathematics, among others) and/or a combination of both.

UROP is open ONLY for Victorian undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a career in biomedical research and

  • enrolled in STEM and other related degrees
