Join CSIRO’s Information and Technology (IM&T) unit as a Systems Administrator – Identity and Access Management and play a key role in shaping secure, seamless access to the tools that power world-class science.
You’ll work across Domain Name Services, Group Policy, Certificate Management, Azure AD and Identity Access Management, collaborating with diverse project teams to grow capability and support CSIRO’s broad identity portfolio.
Your duties will include:

Support and implementation of technical deliverables of DSE aligned projects

Support CSIRO staff regarding technical activities, scheduling, and resource requirements

Assist with the lifecycle management and service improvement activities across all DSE Services

Encounter problems where methods are not defined and use initiative to seek new approaches to meet client needs and improve the services provided.

Liaise with clients to determine their needs and take personal responsibility for their satisfaction, correct problems promptly and in a constructive manner.
Location: All Australian Capital city with CSIRO sites
Salary: AU$73,567 - AU$93,630 plus up to 15.4% superannuation
Tenure: Specified term 12 months

To be considered you will need:
- 2+ years’ experience in supporting windows server infrastructure and a solid understanding or experience in:
- Entra ID
- Identity Access Management
- Active Directory
- DNS/DHCP
- Certificate Management
- Group Policy Administration
- IPAM
- Demonstrated experience utilising automation for maintaining and administering the above technologies.
- Demonstrated ability in providing technical advice to the team, clients and management.
- Excellent communication skills, including an ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary, geographically disperse teams.
Desirable - Significant experience supporting and implementing the following technologies:
- Entra ID
- Active Directory
- DNS/DHCP
- Certificate services
- Windows Server

Eligibility
Applications for this position are open to Australian Citizens; the successful candidate will be required to hold or have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the NV1 (SECRET) level. Appointment to this role is subject to provision of a national police check and may be subject to other security/medical/character requirements.
